What Is the e.l.f. Glow Reviver Slipstick?

I feel like it’s been awhile since I’ve been THIS excited for a new release beauty product! I even preordered it before it was released. I LOVE the elf Glow Reviver Lip Oils so I was super excited about the new stick version for the line. The Slipstick is a combination of the popular elf lip oil with the high-pigment payoff of your go-to lipstick. It’s infused with squalane, shea butter and jojoba oil to hydrate, smooth, and soften lips. It claims to have medium buildable color and comes in 10 shades. e.l.f. Glow Reviver Slipstick is vegan and cruelty free.

The biggest criticism I’ve heard from followers about the elf Glow Reviver Lip Oils is that there just isn’t enough color payoff. I love how hydrating they are but if I want more color I usually have to layer them over another lip product like the WinkyLux color changing lip balms. The Slipstick definitely resolves this issue. I tested the rose latte shade and it had WAY more color payoff than I was expecting plus it’s buildable. Here’s a side by side swatch:

Is the New elf Glow Reviver Slipstick Worth It?

I 100% think the elf Glow Reviver Slipstick is worth it! I love that it has better color pay off than the oils while still giving high shine and hydration. The packaging feels much more high end than the price point and I really like the magnetic lid. I’m going to get more colors to swatch and will report back on how I like them.
