WHAT IS PRIME DAY?
Prime day is a HUGE sale event where Amazon Prime members can enjoy lightning deals, price cuts, and other promotions and is similar to Black Friday. Prime Day 2017 sales were higher than the 2016 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales combined!
WHEN IS PRIME DAY?
**UPDATE 2** Prime Day officially starts July 16 at 3pm!
**UPDATE** A leak states that Prime day will beginmidday July 16!
Amazon hasn’t officially announced the date yet but they have posted the “official” Prime Day page. I’ll update when they announce it. We do have a good idea when it will be- The first Prime Day was Wednesday, July 15, 2015. The second Prime Day was Tuesday, July 12, 2016. And the third Prime Day lasted 30-hours starting late Monday, July 10, 2017; all of Tuesday, July 11; and ended early morning on Wednesday, July 12. Rumor has it Prime Day will start on or around July 10th this year based on past history.
WHO CAN SHOP PRIME DAY DEALS?
Only Prime members get to take advantage of the deals. If you aren’t a Prime member you can sign up for a free trial.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BEST PRIME DAY DEALS?
We won’t know what the actual deals are until Prime Day is here but some of the best deals historically have been on Amazon products like Kindles, Kindle Fire, Amazon Echo and Echo Dot etc. There’s usually deals on everything from clothes to toys to tools! It’s a great time to snag some Christmas gifts at a deep discount.
Some of the most popular deals last year from my readers included: Camel Back Eddy bottles, Echo devices, a KidKraft train table, Native shoes, diapers, kids’ books, Fire Tablets, and Dinner Winner trays.
