It’s holiday party season and I’m sharing some of my favorite dresses for all of your Christmas parties! There are also great options for New Years Eve parties as well. Most of the dresses are very budget friendly (I tend to splurge on accessories). There are lots of styling options and many of the pieces will mix and match. I tried to hit a variety of dress codes from more casual to more fancy.
For size reference I am usually a 12 in dresses and I’m 5’4″ tall. All dresses are mom – bod approved.
Guberry Velvet Faux Wrap Dress

Grace Karen One Shoulder Sequin Dress
I always call this time of year “sparkle season” so I HAD to include a sequin dress option. This would also be a great NYE party dress. The one shoulder style is very trendy this year. I sized up one to an XL which I usually do it body con styles.

The Drop Satin Dress
I wore the dress to an event in LA and it was a hit! It’s so easy to wear and you have the option of belting it or not belting it. I prefer the look with the belt. The material is a pretty shiny satin and it comes in several colors. Fit TTS in a large for me.

Kirundo Metallic Gold Polka Dot Dress
I love this cute dress for parties but it’s also conservative enough for daytime events. I even wore it to church. I like that it has a but of shine with the metallic polka dots but isn’t too over the top. Fits TTS in a large for me and is so pretty.

DKNY Long Sleeve Sequin Surplice Faux Wrap Dress
This pretty DKNY sequin dress was actually my second choice for an event in LA but it was SO cold out that I decided to go with the long sleeve option. I’m so glad I did! It fits TTS and is so pretty.

Off the Shoulder Ribbed Dress
I love this off the shoulder dress for when you want a little bit more elevated look but still super comfortable. It’s a ribbed material and very stretchy. I’m wearing it TTS in a 12-14. I photographed it without shape wear to give a honest view off how it fits but in real life I would wear shape wear under it to smooth things out.

Maurices Flannel Buffalo Plaid Dress
I wanted to include a more casual, cozy option and I think this buffalo plaid one fits the bill. The flannel is so soft and it also comes in red. Fits TTS in a large.

Blue Midi Dress
This blue midi dress is a showstopper and super budget friendly. Fits TTS in a large and great for evening events. I like that the blue color will be wearable year round for dates nights etc.
