Wooden tiered tray decor is all the rage right now and I think it’s an easy way to decorate seasonally. I have a farmhouse tiered tray that is whitewashed that I picked up from Amazon awhile back. I love swapping out the decorations to make it festive.
Neutral Fall Decor
I decided this year I wanted to go with a more neutral theme for my 2 tier tray instead of something overly orange and black so it would go with my home decor better. I absolutely love the way it turned out!
What You Need to Decorate a Tiered Tray
Tray
My wooden tiered tray is from Amazon. I like that it’s lightweight and easy to assemble. Get it here: https://amzn.to/3wkJ3q6
Pumpkins
I thought these white and burlap pumpkins were perfect for my neutral toned fall decor theme. They are really lightweight and super cute. Get them here: https://amzn.to/3T475iS
Greenery
I knew I wanted some greenery on the tray. I ended up going with this combination of lamb’s ear and eucalyptus because I’ll be able to use it on the tray for other seasons as well. Get it here: https://amzn.to/3AElIlT
Fall Signs
These little shiplap signs are just the perfect focal points for my tray. I wanted them to be fall themed but still fit in with farmhouse aesthetic I was going for. I like that they include little stands. I’m only using 2 of the 3 right now but after Halloween I’ll swap one out for the “Give Thanks” one for Thanksgiving. Get them here: https://amzn.to/3caq3DP
Personalized Signs
These wood personalized family signs were a Jane deal and I just love them! They turned out exactly like I hoped they would. I like that they will work on the tray year round no matter what the season or theme is. They come back periodically here: https://mavely.app.link/e/ZLlMaudDFsb
How to decorate a Tiered Tray – Instructions
Assembly was pretty easy. I added the signs where I wanted them first. I try to vary height to give it more dimension. Once they were in place I added the greenery adjusting the signs as needed. The last thing I added were the little white and burlap pumpkins. I think it turned out super cute!
Transitioning Your Fall Tiered Tray to Thanksgiving
After Halloween I transitioned the tray to fit Thanksgiving decor. It took me less than 5 min. I added the “Give Thanks” sign from the set I already used and added this cute Turkey.

So cute!! I’ve been wanting to do more neutral fall decor and get away from so much orange. Thanks for the inspiration!
