Getting Pokemon Cards this year has been a STRUGGLE. My boys are still very much in this stage and I’ve been trying to get sets for their Christmas gifts without a ton of luck so far. I’ve entered the Walmart Wednesday Draws EVERY SINGLE WEEK trying to the get the 30th Anniversary ETB with zero luck.

The one bright spot is I DID manage to get the Q4 Poke Ball tins. Because Amazon listed them above Walmart and Target prices they have stayed in stock and I actually was able to score 2 for the boys. I’m thinking I might need to bite the bullet and order 2 more. While people HAVE been able to score them cheaper by attending in store drops I just don’t have the capacity to do that while working so I happily paid a little more to get them shipped and sold by Amazon directly.

What’s Inside the Poke Ball Tins?

The Q4 Poke Ball tins include 3 Pokemon TCG Booster packs and 2 sticker sheets. The tins ARE metal and a really nice collector pieces. The tins themselves come in 4 colors and you get one at random from Amazon. My kids still love stickers so I’m sure they will like them but if we are being honest it’s all about the cards for them lol. Each booster pack contains 10 cards so you get a total of 30 Pokemon Cards. I only recommend ordering the tins that are shipped and sold by Amazon directly- don’t do 3rd party sellers (that goes for all stores).
Are the Pokemon Poke Ball Tins Worth It?

Normally, I don’t like to pay more than $10 a pack for Pokemon cards for my kids. BUT, with how difficult it has been to get them this year plus the fact that you get the tins and stickers which my kids will love I think it was worth it for me. This has guaranteed they will have at least a few Pokemon card packs to open on Christmas so I’m glad I was able to get them even if I had to pay a little more.
