Little Green Pouch Review + Giveaway

I’m super excited to share this review with you all! The Little Green Pouch fills a need that I have wanted to find a solution to for awhile. My friend Aimee introduced me to squeezable fruit and veggie pouches and I love them! They are so convenient for school lunches and are a way of adding extra veggies to my diet without me having to actually eat vegetables.

The catch is that the cute little pouches of prepackaged purees are expensive and create quite a bit of plastic waste. I don’t get them nearly as often as I would like because of this.

The Little Green Pouch solves both issues! You can make your own fruit and veggie purees for pennies on the dollar and the reusable pouch prevents adding plastic to landfills.

The pouches arrived in a set of four in a recycled cardboard box.

The pouches are BPA, PVC, and phthalate free and are dishwasher and freezer safe. They are recommended for ages 4 months and up. Each pouch holds 6 ounces and will last for several months.

Opening the bags was a lot easier than I anticipated. The tabs on the top made opening it a breeze. The zipper seal felt very solid- no worries about leaks!

The back of the pouch gave directions for filling the bag. You can use a spoon, funnel, or pitcher. There are also marks to show how many ounces are in the bag and a cute place to write your name.

While I found the spoon method to be acceptable, I MUCH preferred using a funnel because the opening is a little small. Little Green Pouch actually makes a collapsible mini funnel you can purchase for filling the pouches.

The drinking/eating opening was a good size and I didn’t have any trouble with food getting stuck. To clean you put the pouch in the dishwasher. You can also use a bottle brush to give it an extra scrub.

Overall, I love the Little Green Pouch! my husband and I have been using it for smoothies but I look forward to trying some of the recipes on the Little Green Pouch website.

I love the idea of unpaper towels! Right now we just use a dish cloth but I think unpaper towels are really cool

My little man has trouble with things like applesauce. This would be great for keeping the messes to a minimum. Didn't know these were even on the market! Thanks!!
