Organize Your Ticket Stubs in a Memory Shadow Box!

I have a confession to make: I hoard paper. I have a lot of trouble throwing things out- like my memories are somehow attached to the paper. Ticket stubs are particularly problematic since I was finding them all over our home. This solution makes me really happy!

I got the idea for the Memory Shadow Box from Pinterest. It was super easy to make. I picked up the box at Michaels using a 40% off coupon. I like this design because it has a slit in the top like a piggy bank so I can just drop the ticket stubs in! I then selected a piece of card stock that went with my decor and placed it in the box. I finished it with a sticker from Joann’s that says “memories.”

The total cost of this project is under $15 and I no longer am leaving tickets stubs everywhere. This one is definitely a success!

Edit: I’ve been asked a bunch about the hole/slit in the top. Here is a link to one that has the hole pre-cut.

Hello! Did the shadow box come with the slit in the top or did you have to cut it?

Hi! I was wondering what type of paper you used for the background? Do you think scrap booking paper would be sufficient?
